The Tenori-On is a digital music instrument but too a visible music interface. Media artist Toshio Iwai and Yamaha have collaborated to design this new digital musical instrument. It’s composed of a unique touch-sensitive 16 x 16 color LED button matrix.

Maybe there is something else than tactil screen. “We” have attained a high level in display, it’s very realistic. But Tenori-On re-opened the debat on the technologies’s role. The technology have to imitate the reality or creates something else. The imitation of reality is fine for integrate technology in society, but eventually technology can create something new.
Maybe in one generation, technology will be present so much, technology should be a mean of create something new. The technology is a mean, is not a goal for design product.
Tenori-On shows something really simple in visualisation ( it’s pixelate !!!). The beauty of this instrument is in it’s simplicity (hi Maeda!) and in it’s abstraction (it’s not an aqua effect…).

PLAY.orchestra is an interactive sound installation, which is the result of collaboration between Milk and Tales, Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design MA Creative Practice for Narrative Environments, South Bank Centre Education and the Philharmonia Orchestra.
Visitors interact with this system sitting down and using there mobile phone Bluetooth equiped. (more info)
Daniel Harris at Central Saint Martins was involved in the project from the beginning, details from his site:
“The Objective was to get non-traditional audiences to experience an orchestra from new perspectives, and to participate in the composition process. For this purpose, a bluetooth system was set up, where members of the public could submit their own audio samples for use in the final weeks of the commission.”

Graph Theory is a project imagined by Jason Freeman, and designed by Patricia Reed with the collaboration of the violinist Maja Cerar. Well introduction is now done !
Graph Theory is an online audio-visual experience that allows users to navigate around 61 different short looping musical fragments to explore a dynamic composition for solo violin. We have every time 3 or 4 choices of loops. These possibilities are put forward by colors captioned according to order of reading and popularity.
It’s kind of something that we don’t see time flies !

Symbaloo is a customable page which allows to display set of his bookmarks, RSS feeds, web tools, etc. This webservice is the work of Tim Has.
The advantage it’s to be easy (drag&drop…). Moreover Symbaloo attracts attention by the look of this service. The colorful big blocs look like Adobe software logo.
Regarding the name :

eco ego is a netgame realized by japanese studio Marukin Ad. It’s goal is to educate and sensitize our behaviors and habits. We embody a little character, whose health damages when our behavior isn’t detrimental environment. The game principle is to do survive our frail character, choosing good act.

The Paper Critters’s website allow as its name suggests, to create your own toy. It is designed and developed in San Francisco by JR Fabito, as his final project at the Academy of Art University, MFA Computer Arts New Media program. Paper Critters is a real graphic interface. It is composed of a gallery and creation inteface. This second part is really complete and rich. Posibilities are gigantic. Moreover than we can upload personal pictures on the work stage.
The last version of FlashCS3 and ActionScript 3, allow to manage 3D, notably with Papervision3D a component that we can add in the latest Flash version. It’s fluid and funny. Just cool.

Fidg’t is a graphic representation of our social network. It is a mashup that do bridge between Flickr, Last FM, AIM, MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger ; and coming soon will be added Digg, Del.icio.us, eventful, and Facebook.
When we set a one of application user’s name’s, Fidg’t Visualizer display the user with his contacts. Each member is represented by an hexagon which width varee according to its content. The real innovation is the capacity of the application to organize the members by magnetic tags. Thus that permit visualize quickly that have most impact inside a social group.
The ergonomy, the simplicity, the beauty and the reactivity of this application developped by Protomobl, make Fidg’t a real living social network.
